Ubiquiti (AF-5XHD) airFiber 5XHD is a product used to implement a point-to-point radio link, ensuring high link efficiency. It operates in the 5GHz band and is a development of the popular airFiber 5X.
airFiber 5XHD is the first radio link using the LTU module, offering a channel width of up to 100 MHz. The LTU chip overcomes the limitations imposed by the 802.11 Wi-Fi standard.
AF-5XHD is compatible with Ubiquiti® airFiber When assembled with an antenna, it provides a complete solution for point-to-point (PtP) links in the 5 GHz band. To use the RocketDish RD-5G30 and RD-5G34 antennas with the AF-5XHD, the AF-5G-OMT-S45 conversion kit is required.
The device has a performance of 21.2 bps/Hz and an actual bandwidth of up to 1.34 Gb/s. AirFiber 5XHD is waterproof and perfect for all weather conditions, with an IP67 tightness class.
