UniFi Dream Machine Special Edition from Ubiquiti Networks is an all-in-one network solution for small or medium-sized businesses. It is a very powerful 1U device to 19″ rack and combines the following features:
Manageable 8-port Gigabit PoE Switch with one SFP/SFP+ port and VLAN support

Multiple WAN capability via 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet or SFP/SFP+ port
UniFi Security Gateway – offers advanced firewall policies and persistent threat management to act as an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
UniFi Controller – The UniFi Network Controller can provision UniFi devices, map out networks, and quickly manage system traffic.
UniFi Video – the 3.5″ HDD slot is used for storing camera recordings

Superior Performance
UniFi Dream Machine Special Edition offers significantly higher performance than previous generations of UniFi Security Gateway. The device is equipped with a 4-core ARM Cortex-A57 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and an internal 16GB eMMC storage. With such a device, the iPerf3 throughput test showed a worthy 3.5Gbps.
